I was the coordinator and assistant professor of music education at the University of Tennessee at Martin. I taught music education courses, conducted the UTM Orchestra, supervised student teachers, and advised upper division music education majors.

Some of her favorite past speaking engagements include the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Conference, NAfME's Hill Day in Washington D.C., the American String Teachers Association Conference, and the Ohio Music Educators Association Conference!
