All too often, I observe young teachers who spend the bulk of a very short class period working with just one section. This leaves the other students bored and Unengaged for long periods of time. We all know that “drilling” is sometimes a necessity, but learning just how to do it with 100% engagement can save the teacher from behavior issues, student dropout, and even burnout in the long run.
